Whole Wheat Tuna Melts Recipe

  • 1 small sweet onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 (12 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 16 slices SARA LEE® Soft & Smooth™ Whole Grain White Bread
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, thoroughly mix onion, tuna, mozzarella, and mayonnaise. Spread mixture on 8 slices of bread, and top with remaining 8 slices to form sandwiches. Arrange sandwiches on a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
