- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
