- 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
- 1 pound cooked turkey, sliced
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimento peppers
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- Cook the pasta as directed on package. Drain.
- In a medium saucepan, cook and stir onion, garlic, and mushrooms in butter over medium heat until tender. Blend in flour, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and mustard. Lower heat then gradually stir in milk and chicken broth; stir until mixture thickens. Add 2/3 cup cheese and pimento, stirring until cheese melts. Remove from heat.
- Place a layer of pasta in 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover with layer of turkey, and then a layer of cheese sauce. Repeat the layers. Sprinkle remaining 1/3 cup cheese over top.
- Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for about 25 minutes.
