- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 1/4 cups low-sodium tomato sauce
- 1/2 sweet green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 sweet yellow pepper, chopped
- 1/2 sweet red pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Heat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Sprinkle a 12-inch (30-cm) pizza pan with cornmeal. Unroll dough and press it evenly into pan. Brush with oil and sprinkle with oregano. Bake until crust begins to brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
- Spread sauce over crust. Top with peppers, garlic, cheese, basil, and red pepper flakes. Bake until crust is golden and cheese begins to melt.
