The Worlds Best Vegan Melted Cheese Recipe

  • 1 1/2 cups water, or more as needed
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon milled flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/8 onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  1. Mix water, chickpea flour, rice flour, nutritional yeast, and flax seeds in a saucepan until dissolved. Add oil, onion, and garlic.
  2. Place saucepan over low heat; cook and stir until mixture is the consistency of melted cheese, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
