- 1 1/2 cups water, or more as needed
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour
- 1/2 cup glutinous rice flour
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon milled flax seeds
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/8 onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- Mix water, chickpea flour, rice flour, nutritional yeast, and flax seeds in a saucepan until dissolved. Add oil, onion, and garlic.
- Place saucepan over low heat; cook and stir until mixture is the consistency of melted cheese, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
