- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 6 whole cayenne peppers, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- Brown the beef in a large nonstick soup pot. Drain away the excess fat. Add the onion, peppers, and garlic and cook until just soft. Add the remaining ingredients, bring the mixture to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes or until thick.
