Tartar Sauce Recipe

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 1 scallion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and smashed
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  1. Rinse and smash the capers. Finely mince the scallions (use just a tiny bit of the green portion).
  2. In a jar or bowl, mix everything together. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes or more.
  3. Makes about 11/4 cups; each serving is 4 Tbsps.
