- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, or to taste
- Combine chickpeas, tahini, water, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt in food processor or blender; puree until smooth. Transfer hummus to a flat dish. Sprinkle parsley over the hummus to serve.
