Sweet eggy bread Recipe

  • 4 free-range eggs
  • 2 free-range egg yolks
  • 25g/1oz caster sugar
  • 50ml/2fl oz double cream
  • 25g/1oz unsalted butter
  • 3 thick slices brioche
  1. Place the eggs, egg yolks, caster sugar and cream into a large bowl and whisk together.
  2. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat.
  3. Dip the brioche in the egg mixture then place into the frying pan and fry for two minutes on each side, until golden.
  4. To serve, place onto a warm plate.
