Stuffed Grilled Pepper Steaks Recipe

  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 5 red cherry peppers, chopped
  • 4 (6 ounce) sirloin steaks, trimmed of fat
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  1. Mix the cheese, oil, onion, and peppers. Slice open one side of each steak, creating a pocket. Stuff with 1/4 of the pepper mixture and fasten with a toothpick.
  2. Season the steaks with pepper. Grill or broil to desired doneness.
