Strawberry-Orange Compote with Cardamom Syrup Recipe

  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 4 oranges, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cardamom pods, crushed
  1. Place fruit in a serving bowl. Heat sugar, water and cardamom pods until the sugar has dissolved. Pour over the fruit.
