Strawberry Cheesecake Truffles Recipe

  • 1 box Duncan Hines® Strawberry Flavoured Cupcake Mix
  • Cake mix:
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Frosting pouch:
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • Optional add-ins:
  • 4 ounces mini-chocolate chips, walnuts, almonds, coconut flakes, or dried fruits
  1. Prepare the cupcake batter as requested and bake in a 9×13-inch pan for 27 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Set aside to cool.
  3. Prepare the frosting mix.
  4. Set aside 1/4 of the frosting.
  5. Add the remaining frosting to the cake and combine until dough is formed.
  6. Form the dough into 24 1-inch balls.
  7. Freeze for about 30 minutes or until firm.
  8. Melt the remaining 1/4 frosting.
  9. Place a small amount of frosting in your hand and roll the ball of dough, just enough to coat it.
  10. Roll into the add-in of your choice (Picture has coconut).
