Spicy Slaw Recipe
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
- 4 pounds mixed cabbages such as green, red, and Savoy, thinly sliced
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cucumbers, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 1 small red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 small yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, Tabasco, salt, and pepper until sugar is dissolved, then toss with vegetables.
