SMUCKERS® Praline Bars Recipe

  • Crust:
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • Filling:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup almond brickle chips
  • 1/4 cup Smucker's® Caramel Spoonable Ice Cream Topping (optional)
  1. Crust: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, mixing on low speed until blended. Press onto bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Bake 20 to 23 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. Filling: Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in chips. Pour over crust. Drop teaspoonfuls of caramel topping over cream cheese mixture. Gently run a knife through the batter to swirl the caramel topping.
  4. Bake 30 minutes more. Cool in pan on wire rack. Refrigerate. Cut into bars.
