- 12 green apples – peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
- 1 (12 ounce) package frozen raspberries
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, or more to taste (optional)
- Combine apples, raspberries, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a slow cooker crock.
- Cook on Low until apples can easily be mashed, about 6 hours.
