Slow-Cooked Tangy Ribs Recipe

  • 1 1/4 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 pounds pork spareribs
  1. Combine vinegar, ketchup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper and oil in a slow cooker; mix well. Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet and brown ribs. You can cut the ribs into serving sizes before browning, if you would like.
  2. Transfer ribs to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
