Sledzie w Jogurcie (Herring in Yogurt Dressing) Recipe

  • 8 pickled herring fillets
  • 1 1/4 cups plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pickled cucumber, diced
  • 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch white sugar, or to taste
  1. Cut herring fillets into small pieces and place in a bowl. Add yogurt, onion, pickled cucumber, mustard, black pepper, and sugar; mix well to combine.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and chill before serving so the flavors can develop, at least 3 hours.
