- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound sirloin strips
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cook the rice according to the package directions. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet and saute the garlic. Add the meat, onions, and bell peppers and cook for about 10 minutes, or until tender. Add the wine, soy sauce, and salt; simmer for 5 minutes more. Serve over the rice.
