- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, preferably Korean (see Note)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 scallions, trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths
- 1 head green leaf lettuce, shredded
- Whisk oil, vinegar, chili powder and salt in a large bowl. Cut scallion pieces lengthwise into very thin strips. Add the scallions and lettuce to the bowl and toss well to combine.
