Seasoned Scallion Salad (Pa Muchim) Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder, preferably Korean (see Note)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 scallions, trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths
  • 1 head green leaf lettuce, shredded
  1. Whisk oil, vinegar, chili powder and salt in a large bowl. Cut scallion pieces lengthwise into very thin strips. Add the scallions and lettuce to the bowl and toss well to combine.
