- 1 pear, cored and cut into six
- 3 slices Black Forest ham
- 2 tbsp butter
- 25g/1oz walnuts, chopped
- 4 tbsp brandy
- 1 handful rocket
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Wrap half a slice of ham around each piece of pear.
- Melt the butter in a pan and cook the wrapped pears for two minutes on each side.
- Add the walnuts to the pan and heat through.
- Add the brandy and carefully let it flame.
- Mix the salad ingredients together.
- Serve the pears on top of the salad.
