Roast pears wrapped in ham Recipe

  • 1 pear, cored and cut into six
  • 3 slices Black Forest ham
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 25g/1oz walnuts, chopped
  • 4 tbsp brandy
  • 1 handful rocket
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  1. Wrap half a slice of ham around each piece of pear.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan and cook the wrapped pears for two minutes on each side.
  3. Add the walnuts to the pan and heat through.
  4. Add the brandy and carefully let it flame.
  5. Mix the salad ingredients together.
  6. Serve the pears on top of the salad.
