Quick Louisiana Red Beans and Rice Recipe

  • 2 links Archer Farms™ chorizo sausage, casing removed, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh or jarred minced garlic
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can Market Pantry™ spicy chili beans, undrained
  • 3 cups Market Pantry instant white rice
  • 2 3/4 cups water
  1. In a 12-inch skillet, cook sausage, dried onion and garlic for removed, 3 to 4 minutes or until sausage is cooked, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in beans, rice and water. Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat. Simmer for 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated and water is absorbed. Serve with your favorite hot sauce.
