Quiche Lorraine Recipe
- 1 frozen prebaked pastry shell
- 8 slices Safeway SELECT Bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese
- 3 O Organics Large Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Lucerne Half-and-Half
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- In a preheated oven, bake pastry shell according to package directions. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
- Set oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
- Scatter bacon in pastry shell; sprinkle evenly with cheese. In a medium bowl, beat eggs with half-and-half, salt, and nutmeg; pour over cheese.
- Bake until center is set when pan is shaken gently (35 to 40 minutes). Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve warm or at room temperature.
