Pineapple porridge Recipe

  • 600ml/1 pint whole milk
  • 4 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • ½ lime, juice only
  • 2 rings pineapple from a can, chopped (a little saved for garnish)
  1. Place the milk, oats, sugar and lime juice into a small saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to the boil, stirring, then reduce the heat to simmer gently for five minutes, stirring regularly.
  2. Add the chopped pineapple and heat through for one minute.
  3. To serve, pour into a bowl and top with a little extra chopped pineapple.
