Pie Pops Recipe
- Pastry pie dough
- Cookie cutters
- Lollipop sticks (can be purchased in any craft department)
- Your favorite fruit pie filling
- Egg wash
- Parchment paper
- Ribbon
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll pastry dough on floured surface and cut desired shapes with 3-inch cookie cutter. Use a tiny cutter to make decorative desgin, if desired. Place bottom pastry piece on parchment-lined baking sheet. Center lollipop stick onto bottom of dough. Add 1 full teaspoon pie filling. Cover with top pastry and crimp edges. Place decorative cut-out piece of pastry (if desired) on top of pie pop. Brush tops of pastry with egg wash.
- Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before removing from pan. Tie with ribbon and share.
- For Cherry Chocolate Pie Pops
- Use 4 chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon cherry pie filling for each pie pop.
