Pie Pops Recipe

  • Pastry pie dough
  • Cookie cutters
  • Lollipop sticks (can be purchased in any craft department)
  • Your favorite fruit pie filling
  • Egg wash
  • Parchment paper
  • Ribbon
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll pastry dough on floured surface and cut desired shapes with 3-inch cookie cutter. Use a tiny cutter to make decorative desgin, if desired. Place bottom pastry piece on parchment-lined baking sheet. Center lollipop stick onto bottom of dough. Add 1 full teaspoon pie filling. Cover with top pastry and crimp edges. Place decorative cut-out piece of pastry (if desired) on top of pie pop. Brush tops of pastry with egg wash.
  2. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before removing from pan. Tie with ribbon and share.
  3. For Cherry Chocolate Pie Pops
  4. Use 4 chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon cherry pie filling for each pie pop.
