Oriental Rice Recipe
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1-1/2 hours or until heated through.
