Oatmeal Cinnamon Topping Recipe

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or butter, at room temperature 30 mL
  • 2 tbsp lightly packed brown sugar 30 mL
  • 1 cup large-flake (old-fashioned) rolled oats or spelt flakes 250 mL
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon 2 mL
  1. In a bowl, beat together coconut oil and brown sugar until smooth. Add rolled oats and cinnamon and stir to incorporate. The mixture will be crumbly. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
