Multigrain Cereal Recipe
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups wheat flakes
- 2 cups malted barley flakes
- 2 cups rye flakes
- 16 ounces dark or golden raisins
- 1 1/2 cups flax seeds
- 3/4 cup sesame seeds
- In an airtight container, combine the oats, wheat flakes, barley flakes, rye flakes, raisins, flaxseeds, and sesame seeds. Store in the freezer until ready to use.
- To cook: For 1 serving, bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add a pinch of salt. Add 1/3 cup of the cereal, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes, or until thickened and creamy.
