Multigrain Cereal Recipe

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups wheat flakes
  • 2 cups malted barley flakes
  • 2 cups rye flakes
  • 16 ounces dark or golden raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups flax seeds
  • 3/4 cup sesame seeds
  1. In an airtight container, combine the oats, wheat flakes, barley flakes, rye flakes, raisins, flaxseeds, and sesame seeds. Store in the freezer until ready to use.
  2. To cook: For 1 serving, bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add a pinch of salt. Add 1/3 cup of the cereal, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes, or until thickened and creamy.
