Mikes Peach Crisp Recipe

  • 5 cups sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix peaches and cornstarch together in a bowl until peaches are covered. Arrange peaches evenly in a 8×8-inch baking pan.
  3. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, pecans, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter with a fork until ingredients are combined and butter is broken into crumbles. Sprinkle over peaches.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until topping is lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
