- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 small (4 inch) pita
- 1/4 (14.5 ounce) can pinto beans, drained and mashed
- 1 ounce mozzarella cheese, grated
- Oregano to taste
- Spread tomato sauce on pita bread. Add pinto beans. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with oregano and vegetables (if desired, see note).
