- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups frozen corn, thawed
- 1 (19 ounce) can diced tomatoes or salsa
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cups KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 12 (8 inch) flour tortillas
- Optional toppings:
- shredded cheese
- shredded lettuce
- chopped green onion
- chopped tomatoes
- sour cream
- salsa
- In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is browned. Stir in corn, tomatoes, ketchup, cereal and seasonings. Simmer over low heat about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Warm tortillas in oven or microwave. Spoon 125 mL (1/2 cup) meat mixture onto each tortilla. Add toppings. Serve immediately.
