- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 6 cups KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 6 miniature marshmallows
- 6 gumdrops
- In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
- Stir in vanilla. Stir in KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9-inch) pan.
- To make 18 cm high bunny, shape 3 1/2 cups of mixture for body and 2 cups of mixture for the head. Join head and body with toothpicks to create a bunny. Shape remaining mixture into a ball for the cottontail, roll in coconut and attach to body with a toothpick. Make ears with coloured paper. Cut two slits in the head to attach ears. Create eyes, nose and buttons with miniature marshmallows and gumdrop halves. Use paper for whiskers.
