KELLOGGS* RICE KRISPIES* Chewy Chocolate Squares Recipe

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 6 cups KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate flavouring
  1. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows and cocoa powder at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
  2. Add in chocolate flavouring and vanilla. Stir in KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9-inch) pan.
  3. Allow mixture to cool slightly. Cut into squares.
