- Hot Cocoa Mix:
- 2 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- Kahlúa Peppermint Cocoa:
- 1/4 cup hot cocoa mix
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 fluid ounces Kahlua Peppermint Mocha
- For the cocoa mix, stir cocoa powder, sugar, and chopped chocolate. Store in an airtight container.
- To make cocoa, heat the milk and cocoa mix in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until chopped chocolate is melted, cocoa mix is dissolved, and milk is hot but not boiling. Pour into a mug and stir in Kahlua. Garnish with marshmallows, if desired.
