Kahlua Peppermint Brownies Recipe

  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua liqueur
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • For the icing:
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons Kahlua liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
  1. Prepare brownies as directed on box mix, substituting Kahlua for the water.
  2. Allow brownies to completely cool.
  3. For the icing, stir together the butter, Kahlua, milk and Kahlua in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread evenly on the brownies and sprinkle with crushed peppermint.
