- 1 (18.25 ounce) package brownie mix
- 1/4 cup Kahlua liqueur
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- For the icing:
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons Kahlua liqueur
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
- Prepare brownies as directed on box mix, substituting Kahlua for the water.
- Allow brownies to completely cool.
- For the icing, stir together the butter, Kahlua, milk and Kahlua in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread evenly on the brownies and sprinkle with crushed peppermint.
