Italian Strata Recipe
- 10 (1/2 inch thick) slices Archer Farms™ French loaf
- 1/2 cup refrigerated basil pesto
- 2 cups finely shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 cups chopped ham
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen, cut leaf spinach, thawed and squeezed to drain well
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 cups Archer Farms™ organic milk
- 8 Archer Farms™ organic eggs
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray 13×9 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange bread slices in single layer in bottom of dish. Cut cubes from remaining bread slices to fill in empty spaces.
- Spread pesto over bread. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese. Layer ham, spinach, bell pepper and remaining cheese over bread. Beat milk and eggs in large bowl until well blended. Pour over layers in dish.
- Bake 40 to 50 minutes, or until eggs are set and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
