- 1 x 500g/1lb Vacherin Mont d'Or cheese
- fresh figs, chicory, biscuits and raisin bread, to serve
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
- Place the whole Vacherin, in its lidded box, on a baking tray in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until runny.
- Place the box of melted cheese on a serving plate and serve with fresh figs and chicory and some savoury biscuits and raisin bread, like a fondue.
