Honey and whisky porridge Recipe

  • 150g/5½oz porridge oats
  • 3 tbsp double cream, plus extra to serve
  • 250ml/9fl oz milk
  • 1 tbsp soft brown sugar
  • dash whisky
  • 1 tbsp clear honey, to serve
  1. Place the oats, cream, milk, sugar and whisky into a small saucepan and cook over a gentle heat for 6-7 minutes, until thickened and smooth.
  2. To serve, pour the porridge into a bowl and drizzle with honey and cream.
