- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking cocoa
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- In a 1-qt. microwave-safe dish, combine the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and water until smooth. Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes or until the mixture boils, stirring twice. Stir in butter and vanilla until blended. Serve warm over ice cream.
