Hawaiian Pineapple Glazed Carrots Recipe

  • 1 pound sliced carrots
  • 1 (12.5 ounce) can pineapple tidbits with syrup, undrained
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 teaspoon Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons orange juice or orange-flavored liqueur
  1. In medium saucepan, combine carrots, pineapple, water, and Morton(R) Nature's Seasons(R) Seasoning Blend. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until carrots are tender. In small cup blend butter and flour to make a roux. Stir roux into carrots and pineapple. Cook and stir over high heat until sauce boils. Reduce heat. Stir in orange juice or orange-flavored liqueur and simmer for 1 minute.
