Grilled Tilapia with Orange Salsa Recipe

  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into small chunks
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
  • 4 (6 ounce) tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced, or more to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  1. Combine orange chunks, green onions, and jalapeno pepper together in a small bowl. Let sit until flavors combine, about 10 minutes.
  2. Season tilapia fillets with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat butter and oil in a large grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook fish until opaque on one side, about 3 minutes. Flip fish and cook until lightly browned and fish flakes easily with a fork, about 3 minutes more. Top fish with orange salsa and a sprinkle of lemon juice.
