- 40ml/1½fl oz whisky
- 2 tsp clear apple juice
- 1 tsp clear pear juice
- 20ml/½fl oz fresh lemon juice
- 2.5cm/1in piece fresh ginger, peeled
- ginger ale, to top up
- apple slice, to garnish
- Pour the whisky, apple juice, pear juice, and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice.
- Grate the ginger into the shaker, then shake well.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
- Top up with ginger ale and garnish with an apple wedge.
