Familys Creamed Spinach Recipe

  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt or minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen spinach – thawed, drained and chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  1. Heat soup in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, butter, garlic salt, and salt and pepper.
  2. Stir in spinach and onion; cook until onion softens, 7 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.
