- 1 1/2 ounces light rum
- 1/2 ounce curaçao
- 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
- Dash grenadine
- 3 or 4 ice cubes
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass. Alternatively, pineapple juice may be used instead of dry vermouth. Or omit the curaçao and grenadine, use 3/4 ounce dry vermouth and add a dash of Angostura bitters.
