- 250g/9oz butter
- 30g/1oz tomato paste
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- ½ tsp thyme, chopped
- ½ tsp rosemary, chopped
- seasoning
- toast or hot baguette for serving
- Beat butter with wooden spoon until soft, and then add the remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Alternatively add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Scrape onto cling film or foil and roll to reform. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Serve on the toast or hot baguette.
