Easter Basket Fudge Recipe

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2/3 (5 ounce) can Nestle® Carnation® Evaporated Milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups Nestle® Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) tube decorating icing for each color desired
  • 49 jelly beans
  1. Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil.
  2. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in medium saucepan.
  3. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat and stir constantly for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Add marshmallows, morsels, nuts and vanilla. Stir until marshmallows are melted.
  5. Pour mixture in pan and refrigerate until firm.
  6. Lift from pan, remove foil and cut into squares.
  7. Decorate with icing and jelly beans.
