Deviled Chicken I Recipe
- 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup melted butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Dip chicken pieces into 1/4 cup melted butter and place in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
- In a medium bowl combine remaining 1/4 cup melted butter with paprika, salt, mustard, chili powder, cayenne pepper water; mix together and pour mixture over chicken.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for another 30 minutes.
