Deviled Chicken I Recipe

  • 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup melted butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Dip chicken pieces into 1/4 cup melted butter and place in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
  4. In a medium bowl combine remaining 1/4 cup melted butter with paprika, salt, mustard, chili powder, cayenne pepper water; mix together and pour mixture over chicken.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for another 30 minutes.
