- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake pie crust 10 minutes; remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F.
- In saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with butter.
- In large bowl, beat chocolate mixture with sweetened condensed milk, biscuit mix, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pie crust.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until center is set. Cool at least 1 hour. Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
