- 600g/1 lb 5oz new potatoes
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Bring a large pan of water to the boil and add the new potatoes. Boil until tender
- Drain and crush them with the back of a fork.
- Stir in the butter and crème fraîche and season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Serve.
