- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup cold evaporated milk
- In a large bowl, cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla for 8 to 10 minutes. With mixer on high, add cold evaporated milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Frost cake as desired and keep refrigerated.
