- 1 (4 pound) corned beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon Archer Farms™ peppercorns
- 1 Archer Farms™ bay leaf
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 (.85 ounce) packages brown gravy mix
- 1 tablespoon country Dijon mustard
- Place beef in 3 1/2 to 4-quart slow cooker (discard seasoning packet). Add peppercorns and bay leaf. Add enough water to cover brisket.
- Cover and cook on Low 6 to 7 hours or until tender.
- Set oven control to broil. Remove cooked brisket from slow cooker. Place fat side up on broiler pan. Cover with brown sugar. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 to 4 minutes or until sugar is melted and crusty.
- Meanwhile, prepare gravy as directed on package. Stir in mustard. Serve gravy with brisket.
